Nadia’s Bridal Shower

Several weeks ago we sent our youngest son, Dean, to Texas to pick up a couple of pieces of equipment.  How were we to know he would stop in Las Vegas for a few days and get married to his long time sweetheart, Nadia?  Well, that is exactly what he did!  Who was I to complain, his father and I did the same thing almost 35 years ago!  So this morning we are having some of Nadia’s family and friends over for a bridal shower.  We Maidhof’s tend to do things our own way!

So what does a crazy food blogger do on her own birthday?  Cook of course!  My great-nephew Greyson thought I should have a party so I spent the day putting one together!  Just Vic and I and the local kids, but special none the less.  Tina will be joining us from Brooklyn via Skype and Dean has Skyped in his well wishes!  Here is what is on my table tonight!
